Lysmachia ‘Firecracker’ (Bare Root)
If you need to brighten up your perennial border, ‘Firecracker’ will provide the necessary punch. The new growth and lance-shaped leaves of this upright Loosestrife are bright burgundy-red, and although they become more muted during the summer, the leaves retain a burgundy glow throughout the season. ‘Firecracker’ is a very low maintenance plant. Starry, 1in, yellow flowers with faint reddish veins appear in mid-summer (June – August typically).
